World Hepatitis Day – Let’s Break It Down

Today, on World Hepatitis Day, we join the global effort to raise awareness about viral hepatitis – a preventable and treatable disease that still affects more than 300 million people worldwide.

This year’s theme highlights the importance of removing barriers to prevention, testing, treatment and care. Although effective vaccines, reliable diagnostics and life-changing treatments are available, far too many people remain undiagnosed or without access to the care they need. Early testing and timely treatment are key to preventing serious liver disease and saving lives.

At Lenis, we remain committed to improving access to innovative therapies and supporting better outcomes for people living with hepatitis B, C and/or D. By working together with healthcare professionals and the wider community, we can help reduce the burden of hepatitis and improve patients’ quality of life in Slovenia.
