Let’s Break It Down

Today is World Hepatitis Day, when we unite to fight against hepatitis and raise awareness about viral hepatitis—a group of infectious diseases known as hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E—that affect over 300 million people worldwide. Among them, hepatitis B and C are the most dangerous, often going undiagnosed until they cause severe liver damage, including cirrhosis or liver cancer.

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because many people live with the virus for years without symptoms, unknowingly spreading it to others and risking their health. Early testing and diagnosis can save lives by allowing for timely treatment and reducing the burden of liver disease globally.

At Lenis, we are proud to contribute to the treatment and improvement of the quality of life of those living with hepatitis B, C and/or D. We believe that together we can achieve significant changes and reduce the burden of hepatitis in Slovenia.
